Hi Pamela & Michael!
I’ve just browsed the blog… I appreciate you sharing your good news and adventures. I wish I was as good to stay in touch with my family and friends.
I suggest that you get the baby’s room ready before he arrives as you will not have much spare time or energy afterwards. If you haven’t already done do, you should set up your baby gift registry which may include the basics necessities as well as those decorative items for the room.

Thanks for the advice, Diana. We don’t know how much the baby is going to use “his room” initially, because we are thinking of getting one of those co-sleeper things. It hitches to the side of our bed and is handy for nighttime feedings, and that type of thing. Then we plan to switch him to the crib later on. You are probably right, though, that we ought to take advantage of the “nesting instinct” to set things up before the birth. I hear horror stories of sleepless nights and days without showers post-delivery
